- Store Your Most Valuable Items First, Toward the Back of Your Unit, to Prevent Damage When Moving in and Out
- Leave a Small Air Space Between the Items Stored and the Unit Walls to Allow Free Circulation of Air
- Do Not Place Heavy or Sharp Objects on Top of Upholstered or Fragile Furniture
- Protect Your Mattresses and Box Springs with Form-Fitting, Plastic Covers
- Disassemble Any Furniture Pieces When Possible to Allow for More Storage
- Wedge All Appliance Doors Open to Allow Free Circulation of Air. Also, Make Sure All Appliances Are Cleaned and Thoroughly Dried Before Storing
- Use Uniform Boxes and Stack Them Shoulder High to Maximize Your Storage Space
